Description

Tarfuse® filament is a brand of 3D printing filaments of Grupa Azoty S.A., the largest chemical company in Poland.

The Tarfuse PETG AM filament is a PETG filament with antibacterial properties, in addition to printing hobby, demonstration and prototype elements. Tarfuse® PETG AM is approved for contact with food in accordance with Regulation (EU) 10/2011 and subsequent amendments.

The antibacterial additives used in Tarfuse® AM filaments are approved for marketing by the European Union Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The antibacterial additives used are listed next to the chemical ones approved by OEKO-TEX.

Tarfuse® PETG filament can be sent for food contact device detail printing in accordance with Regulation (EU) 10/2011. The antimicrobial additives used in the Tarfuse® AM filament confirm approval by FDA - US Food & Drug Agency - Section 176.170 Chapter 21 US Code of Federal Regulations (21CFR176.170), Table 2 and approval by the Antimicrobial Division of the Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA);

Details in 3D technology, i.e. as well as prototypes and functional details due to the fact that the layered function can affect the environment for the development of bacteria and fungi. Even after a basic wash often no extra detail can be obtained, this is critical for children's hobby prints. Thanks to the elements made of antibacterial filament, the proliferation of bacteria and fungi is therefore reduced, and the risk of spreading germs among users is reduced.
