HIPS filament, black, 1,75 mm 1 kg

Filament HIPS - thermoplastic plastic in the form of fibre, used for 3D printing using the FFF method. Filament wound on a spool, vacuum packed with a moisture absorber. The reel contains 1 kg of net material. It can be used in all FFF printers that are not protected from external suppliers and open source structures before use. The HIPS filament can be used as a main or support material, among others for ABS material in double head printers. HIPS is easily machined such as grinding, drilling or smoothing, the material is soluble in D-limonene.

HIPS filament, natural, 1,75 mm 1 kg

HIPS (High Impact Polystrene) Filament is designed to dissolvable easily in a limonene bath in just 8-24 hours (depending on size and geometry of print). Limonene is a common, colorless, citrus-scented solvent available online and in grocery or home stores.
HIPS is compatible with ABS for dual extrusion (ie HIPS and ABS bond during printing) allowing for HIPS support and RAFT printing on ABS models, for easy dissolving away after printing.
Note:HIPS requires a heated build plate and PLA will not stick to this. For dual extruding with PLA see PVA support material.
Spool diameter: 200mm Spool width: ~ 70mm Diameter mounting hole: 52mm
Recommendations: Hot end: 235-250 °C Heating bed: 90-100 °C
It is recommended to use a cleaning sponge filament
