Supporting filaments

HIPS filament is a thermoplastic material that possesses some unique characteristics: low hygroscopicity; solubility in d-limonene (a chemical solvent); and good impact resistance. Its features make it perfect as a support material. Devil Design HIPS has the advantage of being cost-effective, quick-printing, and durable. Devil Design HIPS is easily machined such as grinding, drilling or smoothing, the material is soluble in D-limonene.

INNOVATEFIL® PP SUPPORT, is a support material for PP that is unique in the market, knowing that it is a highly requested need for all PP users and that it will facilitate the production of complex parts, especially in the industrial sector which is constantly on the lookout for cutting-edge products and in need of an efficiency and effectiveness boost in their production and factory lines.

One of the numerous advantages of INNOVATEFIL® PP SUPPORT is how simple it is to use. This is because INNOVATEFIL® PP SUPPORT is a BREAKAWAY material, which makes it very simple to remove it from the finished product and eliminates the need for any form of dilution. This, in addition to producing a flawless finish in a shorter amount of time, represents a significant reduction in post-processing work and efficiency never previously attained by any material in the industry.

Polymaker PolyDissolve is a PVA-based filament. PVA has excellent solubility in water, making Polymaker PolyDissolve a very good dissolvable support material for FFF 3d printing. Polymaker PolyDissolve can be used as full support material or only as the interface between the support structure and the model, this later can allow the support to be easily removable by hand but will also speed up the dissolving process.

PolySupport™ is a material designed to solve one of the most intimidating problems in desktop FDM/FFF 3D printing: support. PolySupport™ generates support structures that can be easily removed by hand.

PolySupport™ can be used on both dual and single-extrusion printers. It can be used either as a dedicated support material (dual-extrusion) or as both the modelling and support material (single-extrusion). In both cases, the support structure can be easily removed. PolySupport for PA12 is a breakaway support specifically engineered for PA12-based filaments. It has a perfect interface with long-chain nylons, strong enough to support it and easily removable by hand. PolySupport™ for PA12 prints at a similar temperature to PA12 and is compatible with open, enclosed and heated chambers. The filament is green so it's easy to see and remove after printing.

Smartfil PVA or polyvinyl alcohol is a water-soluble filament used as support material in 3D printing. It is especially recommended to use for PLA pieces to reach those points where the support structure is complex or inaccessible. Later, it can be removed by putting the piece in water, It is also a biodegradable filament, non-toxic and odourless.
