Description
Tarfuse® PLA filament is a brand of 3D printing filaments of Grupa Azoty S.A., the largest chemical company in Poland.
ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) is a UV-resistant weatherable polymer. Tarfuse ASA filament has a low-gloss matte finish that makes it a perfect filament for technical prints - especially when you don't want the high-gloss surface finish often associated with many other 3D printing materials such as ABS, PETG, or PLA. ASA's UV stability makes it an ideal material for outdoor applications that will experience intense exposure to the sun and weather. ASA's exceptional mechanical and thermal properties - coupled with excellent UV stability - are why this resin is used in the auto, marine, and RV industries for exterior applications such as mirror housings, cowl covers, radiator grills, and sensor housings.
Suggested printing parameters:
Nozzle temperature: 260 - 290°C
Build chamber temperature: 20 - 70°C
Bed temperature: 20 - 100°C
Bed material: polycarbonate (PC) mat + PVA glue type
Nozzle diameter: ≥ 0.4 mm
Print speed: 30 - 60 mm/s
