PETG filament is a thermoplastic polymer from a group of polyesters in the form of fibre, used for 3D printing using the FFF method. PETG filament, also known as Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol, is a co-polyester known for its durability and ease of use. Filament PETG has the rigidity and mechanical properties of ABS but is still easy to print like PLA.

Smarfil PLA is a high-quality PLA filament by Spanish manufacturer Smart Materials 3D. Polymaker PolyLite PETG is an affordable PETG filament with balanced mechanical properties and ease of printing. PolyLite PETG is just as easy to print as PolyLite PLA while offering an additional 20˚C heat resistance and more durability. This lends PolyLite PETG to more functional applications where PLA would lack the durability or heat resistance such as lighting fixtures, vibrational parts or more functional product design prototypes.

The LayFomm 40 is another 3D printing filament created by Kai Parthy, the creator of such filaments as LayWood, Lay Brick and Reflect-o-Lay. LayFomm 40 filament is a 3D printing material with two components: an elastomer similar to rubber (TPU) and a water-soluble (PVA). After printing, place the item in water. After one to four days water-soluble (PVA) component dissolves. As a result, we received a very porous and flexible object that looks like foam. LayFomm 40 is slightly softer than LayFomm 60.
