Tarfuse® PLA filament is a brand of 3D printing filaments of Grupa Azoty S.A., the largest chemical company in Poland.
Tarfuse PLA filament is an easy-to-use 3D printing filament compared to other types of materials. PLA filament can be printed using low to moderate temperatures and higher print speeds in FDM technology. Mechanical parameters as well as other properties of the printed model largely depend on the 3D printing conditions, such as printing temperature, extrusion speed, cooling system, etc. Compared to other 3D printing materials, the Tarfuse PLA filament shows low shrinkage and thus much lower susceptibility to warping therefore it is possible to print without a special cooling system.
PLA is a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester of plant origin. It is made from corn, cassava, sugar cane, cereals or sugar beets. PLA is biodegradable under the right conditions, therefore it has a lower environmental impact compared to other thermoplastics derived from fossil fuels.
Tarfuse filaments are manufactured in accordance with:
RoHS Directive 1 and 2 (2011/65/EC, 2015/863),
REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EC.
Suggested printing parameters:
Nozzle temperature: 210 - 240°C
