PLA 3D printing filament by the Polish manufacturer, Devil Design, containing an additive thanks to which the printed element glows with its own, in this case, blue, light after prior exposure to light from the outside.
PLA filament is the most popular 3D printing material. PLA filament owes its popularity primarily to the ease of printing. The relatively low range of printing temperatures, as well as the fact that PLA filament does not require a heated table and a shielded chamber, means that this material can be used in the simplest 3D printers.
It is not without significance that the PLA 3D printing filament is a product made of renewable materials. PLA, or L-polylactic acid, is a polymer obtained from dextrose, a type of glucose that is most often produced from corn. 3D printing filament made of PLA polymer is subject to biodegradation under certain conditions (temperature above 70°C and humidity above 70% RH), which significantly reduces environmental pollution.
