Technical filaments

Spectrum PET-G Carbon is a modified, PETG-based filament blended with carbon fibres which contributes to a considerably higher rigidity, hardness and tensile resistance while retaining low shrinkage and very good adhesion to build platforms typical for pure PETG. The 10% addition of carbon fibres enables to obtaining of matte surfaces of printed items, which greatly improves the aesthetic properties of printed items.

Spectrum PETG FR V0 is a new halogen-free, flame-resistant 3D printing material based on the ever-popular PETG. The filament is designed according to UL 94 V0* flammability rating requirements, meaning that the vertical burning of the filament or printed part does not exceed 10 seconds. Most typical plastics have poor flame resistance, which is why the Spectrum PETG FR V0 filament was developed with flame-resistant or self-extinguishing properties to provide a high level of safety in everyday or working environments. The applied modifications do not affect the printability of the filament, which helps maintain the classic properties of PETG, i.e. simplicity and efficiency of printing, with very low shrinkage and relatively high tensile strength.

Innovatefil® PEI is a 3D printing filament made of ULTEM™ 9085 resin. Due to its high glass transition temperature, it offers excellent properties at elevated temperatures.

Innovatefil PEI is a thermoplastic filament to be used in applications where high performance is required. It is focused on the aerospace, military or automotive sector. Its main advantage is its resistance/weight ratio, it also has excellent thermal and chemical resistance so it is especially suitable for objects with demanding applications.

Innovatefil PP-CF by Spanish manufacturer, Smart Materials 3D is a polypropylene-based filament reinforced with a high carbon fibre load, which considerably improves the final piece's dimensional stability, achieving very good quality finishes. Furthermore, thanks to incorporating these fibres, we obtain a stiffer material than standard PP, but with enough flexibility to provide high-impact, mechanical and thermal resistance.

INNOVATEFIL PA CF is a filament with high mechanical strength (tensile strength: 170 MPa) and excellent performance at high temperatures, the combination of polyamide and carbon fibre allows large objects to be printed without deformation.

Among its main advantages, is the ability to work at temperatures of 150 º C. Also, this filament has great adhesion between layers which gives the printed piece great resistance regardless of the printing position.
